Welcome to the Ottawa YMCA Summer Day Camp! We are so
excited about this program!
REGISTRATION FOR 2010 IS GOING ON NOW! All registrations are on a first come, first
serve basis. Due to the increased popularity of this program, registration
may be closed if we reach the maximum number of children per age group.
Children are divided into groups based on age:
TREKKERS are children ages 5-7 years. This group gives
opportunities to learn new skills, explore nature, and make new friends through
age appropriate activities.
EXPLORERS are children ages 8-10 years. This is a
highly active camp filled with experiences designed to develop self-esteem,
perfect skills, and create lasting friendships.
ROVERS are children ages 11-14 years. This program
develops leadership and teamwork skills as well as self-confidence through many
outdoor activities.
Times
Camp runs from 7:45am until 5:30pm, with early
care available.
There is an additional charge for early care and late pick ups.
Wednesdays are field trips days. Children are transported via bus and leave the
Ottawa area on most field trips days. Local parks are also visited.
